Meet Alexis Rays. Terrified of people. Hates crowds. Her dad passed when she was twelve, and the whole family turned against her, of course except her brother. He knows about her anxiety and depression.

He notices that the pale, small, chapped-lipped girl sitting beside him at the table isn't eating. Is staring at her cuffs on her sweatshirt, which are soaked still from earlier.
