This is a novel about a topic we technically made up randomly and if there are any mistakes, errors, or just places I could fix and add more details please tell me, I want to make this book enjoyable and exciting to read! We want you to expect the unexpected in this book, for example: Most books don't kill off the main character, we want you to think we will kill off one of them. The whole story is about me and my school friends and our soulmates ,,,, the story is not gonna stay in one timeline... I know It's 2024 but for the story it's gonna be 2031,,, and as it's not 2031,, you can understand the endings are fictional.. the story is all about how I want to end the love stories... For now on all the stories is in the middle track,, but I wanna complete them through this stories... The stories are half true and half imaginary... I hope you guys will like my writing... The year is 2050 and humankind is in an age of prosperity. The Sahara desert is now a lush farmland, the amazon is twice its original size, poverty is almost non existent, all cars are now electric, food is grown in huge urban farms, cancer has been cured and great strife's are being made technologically. The future of civilisation has never looked brighter, but in March 2050, a ginormous army of 500,000 people has appeared out of a huge ball of electricity, the size of Manhattan and their leader, General Hunter Padlock, speaks of a world where there are only 1 billion humans left, a world where humanity has fought a 40 year long war with malevolent machines, intent on butchering all humans, a world where humankind is suffering from starvation, desperation, panic and despair. The year is 2040, and for the clones that were created during the brief run of a shady high tech company in the early 2020's, the time has come for them to become adults. Madelyn has been attending an all girls' boarding school with a large percentage of cloned girls for all of her academic life, and sees the changes in the girls as they approach graduation. Many of the clones were made from stolen DNA from supermodels, singers and actresses, and have almost no shot at a real future because of the sheltered way they were raised. They'd been isolated and completely dependent on the school and the families that ordered them as though they were nothing more than food on a menu. But not every clone is going down without a flight, as Madelyn finds out when she meets her new next door neighbor. This was written for the Open Novelle Contest 2023, Prompt 61: A new neighbor comes to town. Not a very social person, they hide out in their house every day, only leaving through tinted cars. Part 2 is - well, as a student of military history, I was struck by how some things in the military life have seemed to be constant over the centuries.
