"You should take the number," Namjoon said to me, scanning the ad stapled to a telephone pole, "Sounds like the poor girl could really use a place to stay. Maybe she's hot."

"Yeah? Because it also sounds like she plans on getting back together with her boyfriend," I hissed back, "Also, how do you know it's a girl?" I patronized.

"Fine, maybe ~he's hot," Namjoon bit back, "Just take the goddamn number. No one else has, and whoever this is seems pretty desperate."

"Fine. I'll call it when I get home."

"I hope it isn't a pervert," Namjoon laughed.

"If I felt safe before, I certainly don't now," I scorned back.

"Oh my god," Namjoon groaned, rolling his eyes, "It isn't a pervert. A pervert would've put their ad on Craigslist, not a phone pole. I'm fucking with you," he said, punching my arm, "Now call them!"

"Why?"

"You've never had a roommate, and I'm your only friend! This is your opportunity to make friends."

"Maybe I don't want friends!"

"Jesus! Then this is your opportunity to pay less in rent!" Namjoon shouted, "Call. The. Number."
