"What's the worst that could happen between us, blondie?" He said softly,taking a step towards me as the tip of his lip turning up to form that cocky grin.

"You don't know what you're talking about," her breath was shaky, her expression failing her and giving away every emotion she was feeling.

"Maybe you're right, maybe I don't," his voice dropped another octave as he stepped closer to her, causing her to bump into a row of lockers with no place to go.

His face inches away from hers, his breath hot on her lips, his hand rested on the lockers behind her, supporting his body so he could whisper in her ear: "Or maybe, just maybe, I do."

And then, the bell for fifth period rang.
