This is a poem that I have written a couple of months back for a English class assignment. This poem is about a African American girl who gets judged by the color of her skin and suffers depression.

Not good enough.
she is hurt, she wants to be gone, she can't deal with the pain, she can't go on, she wants to give up, she wants to give in, she wants to be happy. but she never is. she judges herself, others judge her too, every day of her life, is a struggle to get through. The tales of love
This is a series of poems about a woman i was once in love with long ago. Everything was sweet like strawberries at first, but deep down she was just using me as a rebound to get over a broken heart she has. We met in a speech class one semester, I couldn't talk to her, I shyly had someone else to talk to her. long story short, I should have got to know her like should, because she judged me for what had and didn't have. i loved her so much that I knew that she was cheating on me and wanted her to stay, but God removed her out of my life. she done so much wrong to me, but love her even of all her flaws.
