Detective Ryan Maddox was just brought back to the force after having been suspended for insubordination. On her first day back she is thrown a curve ball by her superiors. They ask that a reporter follow her around during her investigation of a young woman's murder. 

Working along side her new partner Reporter Nathan Reaves, they soon find themselves in the midst of a serial killer. Striving to catch the killer, and not kill each other in the process, what at first seemed to be the random killings of a serial killer soon turn into something far worse. 

Can Detective Maddox and Reaves put their differences aside and catch the killer before it's too late?
