The Change

Every summer has a story, and this story is the beginning of my new life.

"Lyn! Where are you going?! Come back!" My mother yelled after me. I knew I shouldn't have come back. I've thought about it for years. Should I or should I not. I would love to see my family and friends again, but what would they think if I came back after all these years, looking the same. Not a day older.
It all happened so fast 5 years ago. One moment I was human and the next I didn't know what was wrong with me. I wasn't normal anymore, not that I ever was, but this wasn't a normal behavior for a human. For example, I could hear things a normal human aren't supposed to hear and I was constantly hungry, not for food. But for blood.
Now I have new friends who are just like me, they have helped me learn how to
control my hunger and to behave like a normal person so I can fit in in the society.
Now, I'm going to tell you how it all happened and how I live now, together with my new family, the vampires.
