Remember when the world was perfect and the dead hadn't risen up for revenge, the time when we all went to school and played at the park? There were no worries in the world. That's different now. I glance behind me and the numbers are adding up second by second. My jog slowly changes into a sprint. I turn around once more and i count two dozen walking corpses. Vines hitting me in my face forcing me to run with my eyes closed. I must admit wasn't one of my best decisions. I used my ears and guessed directions. The vines faded right as a ran into a human silhouette. I fell on my face and the figure grabbed my legs and prevented me of getting back up.

Welcome to season 2! This is a fanfiction of the Walking Dead show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SNEAK PEEK! "I don't need no nurse to look after me," he snapped at me, angry, and I frowned at him. He turned away from me after looking down "Quit being a baby...it will only take a second Daryl," I told him, moving to stand where I knew he could see me. "What happened?....why are you avoiding me?'' I asked, seeing him turn to look away. "Daryl?" "You were right to want to kill em" Daryl finally spoke up with a whisper. I frowned and felt my breathing quicken with the idea. "He said somethin about... the men messing with some young girls. " He spoke, but I could hear the anger in his voice. "Beat the shit out of em just because of that..." He said and turned away from me. I thought that was it until he just kicked something of his over making a loud bang "son of a bitch" he snapped and sat down and held his head low. I walked over to him and stopped just a foot from him "what he said reminded me of....you..." he said and shook his head "Because of what happened to you...I remember how skiddish you were back then...if I had known what he was doin I would have beat the shit out of him too....I don't want that happening again..." he said and finally looked up to me. I didn't know what else to say. I just looked at him now knowing he cared about me more than he showed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS FROM THE WALKING DEAD, OR STORYTELLING AND ALL CREDIT GOES TO ORIGINAL WRITERS AND SHOW. An older-looking guy stepped towards me and my eyes flashed directly to his bat. It was a wooden baseball bat with what looked like some kind of wire around it. My eyes widened up in fear and I began to have a panic attack. The guy's face immediately softened, "Back up, she's just a kid!" He whispered sharply and pushed the Freddie Krueger looking guy out of the way, and knelt down in front of me. "What's your name, sweetheart?" He spoke so low I could barely hear him. I didn't answer and just stared at the bat that was not even two feet from my face. "I'm trying to help you." His voice got sterner, and that just made me even more scared but I forced words out of my mouth. "F-Faye," I whispered, winching due to the fact it's been so long since I've spoken. The man nodded, then stood up and held out his hand. I looked up at him, and he nodded towards my ankle. "I've got stuff in the RV over there, I can help." I was reluctant to trust him, and he seemed to take notice. "You really don't have another option, kid."
