Xander a millionaire with two kids who's mother died in a car accident and he had been going from nanny to nanny every months or weeks.
Piper is also the daughter of millionaire John Casey who's wife left him to raise piper on his own now he wants her to come work for her but she refuses. He also told her to go open her own business but she is just too stubborn to do so.
