Ethan jerked forward as though he had been electrocuted. I inched slowly away from him, wary of his every move. And then he transformed, a mask slipping over his face and returning to the Ethan everyone was used to. The jock. 

His posture straightened, eyes cleared and a scowl seemed permanently etched on his face. I didn't understand. 

"Shut up. You don't know what the hell you're talking about." He spat, gruffly and jogged away. 

All I knew was that something indescribable had just happened. Something I couldn't explain. There was a piece missing from his puzzle, and I was determined to find out more.

I asked bewildered finding out who my mate is. "Yes I am and you're coming with me!" He growled out slowly.
