What if the little bruises and cuts that show up on your body, seemingly from nowhere are actually little injuries that happened to your soulmate and you get the same marks on your skin as them? What if?
*okay so this is my first book ever so please let me know your thoughts and opinions so I know that people are actually reading. Also please point out any errors when you see them.
Also I know that the beginning is super cliche which is annoying I know (and also why the bio and cover probably don't make sense Atm) but after the third chapter the story develops and changes completely :)
I'll try to update as often as I can but it will usually be once a week.

Newsies- Soulmate AU Thingy! (DISCONTINUED!)
So, eh... I've never written a Soulmate AU before, so prepare for messy bullcrap. The way this soulmate AU works is that any mark that shows up on one's body also shows up on their soulmate's. In normal circumstances, there will two chapters for one ship, then two chapters for another, then another, another, etc etc. This will be smut-less because I don't feel comfortable writing smut. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. When you turn 14, you get a tattoo that describes your soulmate. As you spend more time with them, it gets more detailed. But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only. (So if you just kiss someone to kiss them then your tattoo won't glow) As for your soulmate dying, your tattoo turns black and shows a small picture of them with their name under. After three days it goes away and you never get another tattoo. Disclaimer: I do not own the PJO or HoO characters. I wish I did though, but sadly that title belongs to Uncle Rick.
