Willow has been living with her Aunt Betty and Uncle Sinclair in Canada for the last two years after the death of her parents in a plane crash. To say that she struggled to cope with their deaths would be an understatement. Why anyone thought a teenager could live themselves after that experience is crazy.

She spent most of her time in trouble from the age of 17 getting in with a bad crowd, wasting her education and escaping jail by the skin of her teeth on a number of occasions thanks to her Uncle who was her lawyer. Once she turned 18 and left High School she moved in with them and they tried to help her tame her ways. This has been going well but everyone needs some excitement in their lives don't they? 

Now with the help of her Aunt, Uncle and his "friends" she is heading to Charleston in the hope of starting fresh.

Does Charleston hold the key to a new life? Will true friendships and love heal her? Or will Willow struggle to leave her past coping strategies behind her now that her Aunt and Uncle aren't there to watch her?

As she grows, she asks about things no one else can see or feel - which only makes things worse. The world is much too dangerous for Selene- no one will understand and will only try to hurt her. She is hidden away in her parents' large and lonely house- for her own good of course. Her life changes forever though one late afternoon when she finds that her wooded backyard is no longer the sanctuary she has always counted on. She learns that the world is a terrifying place, but not for the reasons her mother has always given her.- But more importantly, 5 young men will show her that she truly is a treasure - one that they have been desperately searching for. I have rated this a mature because I am not sure exactly where this story will go...
