In a world of chaos and order, I have been told the secret of my origin. But I'm not the only one. My mother was a spirit, a season and her mother was the life of this world. My Grandmother, Mother Nature.

Now all of the children of these seasons have been gathered in one place to find the next nature of this world. However, it's not all sunshine and daisies. Someone is planning to destroy our kind, someone who was rejected as the next nature, someone who would do anything or kill anyone to take that power.

I am sixteen year old Ember Mason and I lived in Toronto Canada with my dad. I have grown up with him and have loved him and in return he loves me. But now those days are over and I must start my new life as a seasons off-spring.

This is my journey and it can be weird sometimes but other times it's wonderful...

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

[NOW PUBLISHED ON AMAZON! You can buy it here: http://bit.ly/ColdFireBUY] [*SAMPLE ONLY* LAST 10 CHAPTERS REMOVED] [A Wattpad featured novel] Melissa has a rare, undiagnosed disease, or so say the doctors that did tests on her for half of her life. She doesn't need a medical certificate to tell her that she's different. She was born with a body temperature so low that most people would die before they even started living. Keyword: most. Somehow, Melissa has managed to live for fifteen years, but those years have not been without their hardships. The doctors told her that in order for her organs to function in such cold conditions, her body must absorb the heat from the surrounding air in a painful process dubbed a "heat attack", which slowly turns her temporary home freezing and uninhabitable. Forced to move from city to city in order to keep everyone in her vicinity alive, and plagued by the stares and hushed whispers that accompany her, Melissa tries to lead a normal life. But she's failing miserably. And when she's approached by the new kid in school, all hope of an ordinary life slips from her grasp. Suddenly, strange is the new normal, and Melissa finds herself wrapped up in a new world where ghosts aren't "just in her head", glass windows shatter unprovoked, and rare, undiagnosed diseases aren't actually diseases at all. And to top it all off, someone - or multiple someones - seem to want her dead. So much for normal... © 2013 by shayebay All Rights Reserved PUBLISHED JUNE 26, 2019 WITH TYPEWRITER PUB!! "Three weeks. That's how long I got to have drama-free. I'm not sure what is happening to me or to Oakwood. Nothing's the same since I rolled into town and it just keeps getting weirder. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Rewriting specifications : the main points of the story and end of the book will remain the same, am just going to change a few ways of getting there and adding some extra spice. Feel free to pause the read until the REWRITING sign disappears.

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

Bring Me To Life

25 parts Complete

I'm Autumn Scarlet, a hybrid (half human) vampire. I killed the man I loved with one bite. That was my past and I escaped it by moving to London. It's now 1 year later. Adam, another hybrid vampire warned me that I'm in a list, called the Top Ten, and I'm being hunted by a group of people -or you could say demons- called Phantom. In order to destroy Phantom, I have to find the rest of the Top Ten and we have to team up. Phantom sends all sorts of monsters, creatures and demons after us. What they don't know is that the Top Ten includes all kinds of people like snow ghosts, werewolves and we all have supernatural powers. Some of us can manipulate time, use our beauty against others, control light, darkness and weather, shape shift and read minds, that's not all. I told myself that I will never fall in love again due to my past but what will happen when I do find love, will he bring me to life? PG 13+ Has violence and a (kind of) sex scene.
