In a world of chaos and order, I have been told the secret of my origin. But I'm not the only one. My mother was a spirit, a season and her mother was the life of this world. My Grandmother, Mother Nature.
Now all of the children of these seasons have been gathered in one place to find the next nature of this world. However, it's not all sunshine and daisies. Someone is planning to destroy our kind, someone who was rejected as the next nature, someone who would do anything or kill anyone to take that power.
I am sixteen year old Ember Mason and I lived in Toronto Canada with my dad. I have grown up with him and have loved him and in return he loves me. But now those days are over and I must start my new life as a seasons off-spring.
This is my journey and it can be weird sometimes but other times it's wonderful...

He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it?
