I enjoy simplicity. I enjoy the colors that are painted in the sky, the crispness of leaves in autumn, and my time with the people I love.  Everything is all right, I suppose. Well, except for Alice. She came back today after disappearing, but she's not the same any more. Her eyes don't sparkle as much and her walk doesn't have a bounce in it like it used to. She avoids my gaze and even drags her feet tiredly at times. Light things, sure, but they can be what makes all the difference when I love her.
