There are three types of magic-or three KNOWN types of magic. Standard Magic, Household Magic, and Nature Magic. 13 is the year of testing for all children. They take three tests, one for each kind of magic, to see what they are. Their parents then decide what to do with them. Alija (a le HA) , Mikalo (mi kuh LO), and Kai (Ki) are 13. They must go through the tests. None of them test positive for having any kind of magic, but all of them have experienced magic before coming from them. Follow them on their journey to find their magic-and to rewrite what magic is capable of.
