The fire illuminated the Devil's face.
"I've had many other children," he said. "But you're special."
"I'm a girl," Belladonna looked wary. "I'm worthless."
"No," the fire around them burnt fiercely. "Being a girl is better than the boys. You may not have all the powers a boy has but you are so much better."
"I don't need your comfort," her eyes burnt red in anger. "You should leave me alone, I'm doing better by myself."
"Exactly," the Devil jumped off the seat. "All these boys need help, as for you... You are still alive. Nineteen years without me... You knew how to survive."
"Leave," her voice was cold, the fire around them simmered down.
"What?" Her father was taken back.
"Leave!" She shouted, the ground beginning to shake.
"That's my girl, my very powerful girl," he chuckled.
He began to fade away, making Belladonna feel relieved yet sad even though she banished him away.
"Just remember," he was transparent but his smile was clear, a mischievous smile. "Whose daddy's girl?"
