When Jaylan Reed moves from Colorado across the country to the little town of Copperhill, Tennessee, he doesn't expect much. He's in line to be the next Alpha of the Midnight Pack, and everything is in perfect order. Except for one thing. Jaylan has yet to find his mate, and he finally does.. Reyna Fay is one of two female Alphas born in this century. She's incredibly rare, and she's reminded of it her whole life. She used to be like any other werewolf, she wanted to find her mate, rule her pack, and be happy. But when she turned fourteen, the Elders told her of a dark and most preciously guarded secret. One that involved her. It shattered her hopes and dreams. By some cruel twist of fate, her mate has found her, but she doesn't want him. Can't want him. No matter how much she actually does.
