During in the early 40's, Castiel Novak, a teenage boy, moves to Lawrence where he starts Highschool for the first time after being homeschooled his whole life. Still recovering from his Father's death in Germany, Castiel finds it hard to fit in with his new classmates. That is, until he meets his Green Eyed Boy. War, expectations, school and everything in between  puts a strain on the relationship neither of them will admit they want to have.
