When your a teenager love isn't really on your side. It flips and flops just like a fish out of water. So I don't even bother messing with it. Yep that's me talking, Casey. But my best friend, Dylan can't stand to be without someone for at least an hour. Yes I have already to try and convince her that boys are ridiculous and nonsense. She always answers that with "you need to let loose sometimes!" With me being that hilarious person that I am I always tell her that I don't want to end up pregnant. Lucky that hasn't happened to her... Yet. Even though that I sound like a buzzkill right now, I can have a good time without guys being there or me not knowing where my shirt is the next morning. Since we are teenagers most of us are juniors at Northwood High. Yep the big famous Cali. So it's the beginning of the year and we have no clue what's in store for us.

Welcome to high school... or more like, my personal hell. Where I'll be judged on my appearance. Where the drama will fill my head with anxiety. Where I should be worrying about schoolwork, but I sorta won't. Where I probably won't love the people around me. Where my heart will be broken multiple times. Where I will fail the big test I studied for all night. Where I will spend most of my day wishing I was elsewhere. Where I will make friends and enemies. Where I will get into fights and learn painful lessons. Where six valuable hours of my day will be wasted. Where I will see a lot of people that I really don't want to see. Yeah, and they say high school is the greatest four years of your life. Well, guess again. - Megan
