Vivienne's world is turned upside down when mysterious soldiers come and bomb her house. Even though she survives the fire and damage, the soldiers kidnap her. She then wakes up in a van, and watches these kidnappers steal other children (all ages).

Something must be wrong. She meets Riley Pierce and they become acquainted. Together they try to survive through this dark new world and defeat its creator. Will they survive or will it turn out to be a lost cause?

After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity. In his journey he finds a friend, Evans an optimist person who will literally change his life forever.
