The narrator of the story is brought up to a world that others would deem a fantasy and dream world. It is filled with stupendous scenery and is inhabited by angels. A floating peculiar object appears on the day of birth of the narrator. Every year the object comes closer to the ground, and the narrator is excited to discover and unravel its mystery. Silence is a short symbolic and fictional story that revolves around the issue of how mental illnesses (depression, anorexia, bulimia, anxiety etc.) creeps upon an individual as they grow into their teens. It also talks about how ones perspective of the world changes as they grow older and how our thought process changes. Story starts on a light note, however with every paragraph story will become dark and darker.
