The only Dark Lord at Hogwarts is her. ⌘ Ramona has lived in the secluded hinterlands of the Scandinavian wizarding school Durmstrang Institute, surrounded by cold weather and even colder people for six years. She got used to living her life in the shadows, even if she didn't completely know why she was living in them. An enormous ripple goes through Ramona's placid life when she and her mother are attacked by a band of Death Eaters and sent out of hiding. Ramona is sent to live in the sunlight. Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, is the safest place for her, according to her mother. Ramona knows she has a part to play to keep her safe from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-a ruthless Dark Witch, but one student quickly sees through her façade: an unlucky friendship blossoms, a friendship that is quickly fostered into something more. Ramona learns to love living away from the shadows. But darkness always catches up to the daylight. (Set during The Goblet of Fire) **Cover photo credited to petriccor on Tumblr!!**

Now Available on A03: ella_3 ‼️‼️TW: this fanfic will be quite dark at times, it's going to have mentions of abuse, depression and suicide‼️‼️ "Have you always been so insolent?" he queried "Have you always been such an arrogant prat?" I retorted He turned his sharp gaze to me in astonishment Before backing down and rolling his glinted eyes. The sight of him expressing an emotion that wasn't full of scorn almost made me laugh in utter surprise. But what surprised me more was that a badly hidden smile grew on his face, and i could have sworn i saw him quietly laughing out of the corner of my eye.
