I see Simon from the corner of my eye jump up in a hurry to check the vigorously ringing phone in the kitchen. I finish my hit and pass it on to Chris listening to Austin tell another joke.

"Hey Avery," Simon yelled, I looked up and met eye contact "Some named James Hector wants to .
know if you can talk?" he says pulling the phone away from he's ear.

My stomach instantly drops at the sound of his name. My jaw tenses as I clench my teeth. That can't be true, he doesn't know where I am. He can't find me. No.... Not today. Not now, I looked over to Austin then back to Simon, my body starts to shake.

"Wh-what did you just say..? I finally get out. 

"James Hec-," I jump up cutting him off it one slight motion.

I don't know what or who you're talking about David" I take out my phone and start to text Parish telling her how the event went. "You fucking Chris aren't you?" I just looked up at him making a stank face and then back down at my phone. "Hello? I'm talking to you" David stands in front of me. I wasn't in the mood to bicker back and forth with him right now. I could've just told him yes, but he didn't want to know the truth. He smacks my phone out of my hand. I look up at him "Are you fucking him?!" He yells at me and that took me off guard. "No!" Jayden asks as he rubs his fingers through his sharp blade. I say nothing and shrugged. They look at me and their anger increased. "Answer me. Why were you talking to Ava?" He repeats. "Don't know. Don't care." I say carelessly. What was wrong with me? They could literally take me out in a heartbeat, and no one would ever know. Jayden balls up his fists and makes a punching gesture. "You won't answer me? Fine. You're dead meat now, brother." He says and smiles as he runs toward me. I didn't have time to think and just ran really fast to home. Please let this nightmare be over with! I didn't have time to run home and they eventually caught up to me. They cornered me and Jayden slashes his blade on my cheek. I screamed in pain. I was already dumb enough to try to talk back to Twisters and was now dumb-founded to be cornered by them. "Stop!..." I finally muttered. They laughed and Jayden held me up by my shirt. IMPORTANT: The characters start out 18, but there are clear inconsistencies. I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. There will be a couple chapters near the end of the book where they both turn 18, and obviously that's just stupid. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. It's not gonna affect the book that much, just ignore it when they say in the early chapters that they are already adults or already 18. That shit doesn't matter. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high. I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too.
