The time has come. Rouge Reapers have begun turning on their own kind - creating war among the undead. No one knows the death count at this point, however this leaves some souls unaccounted for. Usually a rare occurrence, more and more souls are being left alone.

The earth plain is being flooded with a mass of wandering spirits, faithful Reapers catching an advantage.

Enter Venus Levitt, whose untimely demise has been haunting her town for weeks. When her soul breaks from her body and she wakes in a ravine trashed with garbage and litter, the only rational thing for her to do is head into town.

To replenish ranks, Reapers are converting souls into their own kind. In this process called "Rebirth", Venus is one of the unlikely hero's in a war she originally had no place in.

Will Venus be able to find her way through the chaos and uncover the secrets about her murder?

By a chance encounter, Lucien meets his true love, his fated. In his world, vampires and humans reside together mostly without conflict. There is a mutual understanding. Vampires need blood and humans supply it willingly in trade. Throw into the mix, Jocelyn, a sweet-smelling girl with a personality and attitude that blazes just as red as her hair. Jocelyn is visiting from a land unsettled, as of yet, by vampires where humans are still the hunters. She has only ever known disdain for Lucien's kind. Can Lucien change Jocelyn's mind before time runs out? Excerpt..... I stood up, leaned across the table, on my palms, smiled cooly, and said, "I'm not allowed to call you dinner." Her eyes widened, and she dropped her glass. The glass clanked against her dinner plate and crumbled. She immediately looked down at it and frantically started picking up the pieces. "Leave it for a servant," I sniped at her. Reginald, our head waiter, promptly appeared at her side and started picking up shards. Our servants were specially trained on how to clean up messes without having bloody accidents. She looked up at me with a renewed sense of hostility. "I will do it myself!" Reginald didn't move. He is trained to insist. "Please, Miss?" he asked quietly. He took hold of the piece of glass in her hand and pulled. She squeaked in pain and held her hand up in front of her face. It was in plain view so that everyone could see. Her finger had been sliced open. The sweet smell got so strong that it was almost irresistible. Prompt number: 11. Vampires are bound by an ancient destiny: their soulmate is always human, and this bond is governed by three rules. The smell of their soulmate's blood is irresistible, its taste is sweeter than anything else, and if the love is unrequited, it can be fatal. Fearing this inevitable bond, most vampires try to avoid it. But what happens when one of them discovers that their soulmate is a human who not only rejects them but loathes them?

"In a world ruled by power and tyranny, peace is a distant dream. You were once a child, innocent and new to life, yet someone ignited the flames of destruction, suffocating your breath and stealing away the purity of your air. All that remained were fleeting drops of water and the faintest hope that the fires would one day cease. Perhaps you were gifted, your powers beyond what was ever expected, but power isn't just strength-it's a threat. Years passed, and you grew to despise everyone and everything. In rage and vengeance, you found a twisted kind of salvation. Amidst the chaos, you found home with someone you've picked up while desperately trying to escape the chains of fate. And though agony shaped my path, I never wavered from my purpose. Through hell and blood, I built my name and wealth, offering others a chance for redemption, for lives once broken like my own. Now, after all this time, I've prepared to fulfill the final task of my life. Many will weep, blood will stain the earth, but certainly, they will pay for stealing my childhood. - Anastas
