There were three Realms: The Aegisrealm: inhabited by the Angels, sworn protectors of man, The Overealm: home of the kingdoms of men and the Templar Order, an army of humans empowered by the Angels, and The Underealm: dark abode of Lucifer, Lord of the Daemonic. Seeking to unite all three Realms under his rule, Lucifer's hordes of Daemon horrors stormed across the Overealm, threatening Mankind with destruction and the Angels with subjugation.
