How many more will have to die before Tom is free? How many more pills until the pain stops? Tom Fischer has been haunted by the Man (Slenderman, of course) since he could remember. Driven by fear of himself and fear of him, Tom tries to end the nightmare. He doesn't know when Slender will appear, or what will happen to him next time he does, but all he knows is nothing good can come of it.
A string of random murders keeps three investigators on edge as they try to determine who is leaving the victims beaten to death without so much as a footprint.
Is Tom's affliction in his head or is it real?
