What is the end? The answer may vary from one person to another. But, we can certainly guess that a large number of us might be thinking of the ever so notorious, 'dooms day'. The day mother nature will get her revenge and civilization will seize to exist. We are all aware that the end is inevitable, and that sooner or later Earth will not the place we once knew. But, what if, we managed to survive? We managed to strive; living on a spacecraft traveling thousands of miles per hour. What will our perception of the end be then?
Maybe the end was never really there but was just fueled by our anxiety of the future. The end might just be an illusion, made by our imagination, sealed by the cynical attitude of society.
This is a story of a girl who was never confident of herself and always felt as though she's disconnected from everyone else. However, when she 'accidentally' discovers the actual motive behind the construction of the spacecraft, she embarks on a journey that will not only show her that she is distinct in her own way but, transform her perception of the universe.

The splashing sounds as the waves hit the stone calmed me down and I took a deep breath. Yes. This was it. They have tried sending spaceships into space and leave some of the population up there, but the space crafts required to have humans live there forever is not possible. They have tried making underwater pockets so people can live under the sea, but the underwater pockets are too fragile to maintain and easily every citizen can drown. Hope was almost given up. Until scientists found a planet only couple light years away that is a sister planet to Earth. No one has ever been on this planet before and is unsure what will people find there. So on the year B18, all children born within that year were taken from their families and sent into a spaceship to be trained and prepared for the landing of this new planet. Samantha and her squad are flying through space and preparing themselves both mentally and physically for the adventures of this new planet. No one knows what is going to happen when the spaceship lands on this foreign land.Complete

The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all.
