You wouldn't have said your life was simple. You had your hardships, homework, daily struggle of getting out of bed at six in the morning. Friendship drama, the occasional disagreement with your parents. Just normal teenager things. Like trying to find your place in the world.

You just never thought until it was time for you to go to college, that your life would get so complicated.

And you didn't think those complications but be mutant turtles, giant rats, a psychic redhead, cocky hockey player, snake ninja lady, golden eyed witch, or cult of ninjas who were named after feet. You just thought you would have trouble passing classes, maybe end up partying instead of doing homework, or loosing your library card. Nothing with magic, dimensions, and freakishly weird people.

You had been completely wrong, because your old life. The one where you were normal. Has been destroyed by an old man, and his thirst for vengeance.
