You may think this is a fairytale told to you by your parents when you were young. But we are water, dirt, fire, and even the air you breath. There are many more of us with gifts given to us from the outbreak many years ago. We are known as the Specials. We are not able to live past the age of 22.

The only goal in life is to stay alive. Think about it, it's true. Some people just can't accomplish it while others barely pass with each passing day and a small percent excel at accomplishing it. For some people it's an easy task and they can look to other things, but for others it is a daily struggle. For me and my family it's a daily struggle. My name is Rose Loera and I am 19 years old. What went wrong was what happened later, when I and every noble in my country discovered that I, a Bronze, have the power of a Silver, actually my power isn't even something they have heard of. That is when my life was taken from me.
