Winter Daye can see things that other eyes cannot. She can hear voices that others can't hear and she has terrifying visions that plague her every waking moment. She sees dead people and their untimely deaths, and they constantly plead for her help. Alongside Gabriel Moore, the man that she can't seem to run away from, the pair try to solve the cases that have proven to turn cold, just like the dead bodies that lay forgotten. Solving murders alongside their own heartfelt problems, the two are drawn deeper into the darkness of the town and intertwined more with it's secrets.

"It wasn't me, it was the ghost. That's the whole point!" she shouted. "Fine. But let's do it again. Just to make sure." I wasn't ready to admit there was a ghost talking to my sister. In 1933, Robyn Weller, a young interior designer, was murdered in cold blood by her husband's closest friend. 79 years later, a sixteen-year-old girl named Makayla Moore moves into the killer's mansion with her family. All is well, until Makayla's little sister claims to have close communication with a spirit that's been haunting the house for several decades. The two sisters discover secrets about the house and about the past that no one has ever dared believe. Will they successfully expose ancient lies? Or will an unseen enemy silence them first? ***This story is completely my original work. The characters and events that take place are fictional.*** ***This story contains no swearing or immature content.***
