His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. Who would kill a guy? As I was proceeding with my thoughts, that hoodie guy turned his face towards me. My heart had a mini heart attack. I took turns without thinking, that guy was now following me and guess what? I took a wrong turn and which ended up being a dead end ' You are so dead' I thought. So, I started to think what I said last time to the people I love. 'Good night mom, love you.' to my mom, 'Stop annoying me! I'm going to bed.' to dad which also mean I love you, 'See you later Lu, love you!' to Luana. Okay my good bye says I love them all. Now I can die in peace. Granddad I'll meet you soon in the heaven, if you are there. I was still in my deep thoughts until I saw his silhouette. As, he get closer, my heart begin to race faster. I stared in amazement and horror, and then realized that the person-which, as I looked at him, was a boy-was extending his hand to lift me up. I took it thankfully. When I stood up, the world tipped to the left, and I stumbled. The boy caught me with strong hands. I looked at him and finally was able to look in on his features. The boy was only about 13 or 14. He had a shock of freckles, and a pointy nose, with rosy cheeks, and a mane of curly black hair. He had this quirky smile on his face, and his eyes glinted with mischief. He was dressed in a smithy outfit, complete with a tool belt, which had nothing in it. He also had some sturdy black boots. "You alright?" His voice was kind of squeaky, like he was just getting through puberty, right in the middle of high and low. "I'm fine," I replied, though he raised one of his eyebrows, pretty sure I was lying. I was of course. My favorite band had just turned into a couple of ugly, unearthly mermaids! My hands and legs trembled, and I almost fell over. I managed to stand, and asked, "What were those?" "Sirens. Probably why all the people in this room are asleep!" He grinned, like this was some kind of joke. I was not laughing. "Who are you?" I asked, not really wanting an answer, but it felt good to talk. "Oh! My apologies." He said it with a great bow. "Leo Valdez, engineer extraordinaire, son of Hephaestus."
