You think bad news, right? You think of a drug dealer, a gang member, things along the line of that. Well what do you really know about Bad Boys/Bad Girls?

Everyone fears her. But they don't know her, and they never will. That is, until a certain boy comes along and tries to break through her walls. Will he succeed? Will he fail?
Meet Ashton Prescott. Moved to Wood Creek Junior Year. An eighteen year old Junior. People consider him a Bad Boy. Why? Just like Carter, he's cold and demeaning. He's rude, and secretive, but boy, is he hot. He thinks Carter's interesting and tries to befriend her. He tries to figure her out, find out her past. All the while, she's trying to do the same.

Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again.
