The Ravens are millionaires that no one that lived the United States would know. That is, until that fateful year, Jonathan and Claire Raven turned up from seemingly nowhere with millions. They are left in the present  with a mysterious and mythical background of how they gained there fortune.

Jonathan and Claire go to Chicago for a month and don't return home. There children investigate, and find a horrible truth. There parents won't be returning home to Joliet, Samantha is a born detective and is determined to get her parents justice, while uncovering the dark mysteries of her family's  past. What magical and deadly things they find will leave them breathless and horrified, changing there lives forever.
