Pamela Isley, also known as Poison Ivy , is a cunning scientist who only cares about lust and money. However, a chemical reaction shatters the love in her heart. The damage ends her ability to ever fall in love with anyone coming her way, unless it is pure lust. With poison for saliva, she kills anyone that takes advantage of her power, unless it's a creature created by her. Still searching for her one true love that she will never find, Isley uses the last of her money to bet on a fight for her partner in crime, Bane. He wins the illegal fight with a swoop of his hand, and gets released. The two of them use the winning money to buy an apartment in Arkham, knowing that Batman will never find them. Together, they figure out all of The Joker's credentials, and keeps it locked up in a safe deep down underground. A year later, Isley's lab partner and personal servant, William Quinzel, conducts an experiment that causes STAR labs to explode. Known for escaping, Quinzel blames the mishap on Isley and escapes through a window. Isley is immediately arrested. She charms the policeman into kissing her, and he immediately dies. Isley runs to her apartment and burns all of her evidence. Knowing that she is safe, she falls into the loving arms of Bane, who falls asleep as she gets a text from an unknown number. She was told by a suspicious woman to meet at the demolished STAR labs. There, she that the infamous Harley Quinn tricked her. Knowing what Harley does best, Isley tricks her into foiling her plan. There, Isley realises that Harley is desperate for the same thing that Isley is: love. Together, they team up and try to find The Joker as he disappears from Arkham Asylum. And somehow his files disappear, too. But in times of crisis, Bane disappears the same time as The Joker, leaving no evidence and lover Isley in a wreck.
