Sixteen year old Naomi Clementine, lives a less than ordinary life, of daydreaming.
Fictional histories, strange magical people, and embers raining from the sky.
Unable to tell reality from fantasy in all too vivid hallucinations; eventually causing a near fatal car crash. She expected death, but instead of waking to reality, Nyomi wakes up in Clena.
After reviving in a whole new world, she is left with a blank slate of memories with only her future ahead of her. Through a brief series of unfortunate events, Nyomi finds herself partnered with a young , handsome side show swindler by the code name 'Blondie.'
Although the world itself is is vast in all it's wonder and beauty, there is much more brewing underneath the facade. As Nyomi soon finds herself, along with other unfortunate strangers set in the middle of a conspiracy none of them asked for. Threatening the system from within, causing two countries near war. Five strangers are given a job, a heist, that was all it was supposed to be.
Soon enough Nyomi learns there is much more at fault and at stake than two feuding countries.
Her safety, her heart, and her future and even more to her past than she could even imagine, are all put on the line. As nothing, and no-one, even herself, are what they seem.
