The dream of herself is like every other. She is falling, deeper and deeper, into a bottomless lake. The world that surrounds her is distorted, the water claws at her lungs and eyes. She sees a pale glow above the surface that slowly fades down to nothing as she sinks. Ah. This is it. This, it's where I die. Isn't it?

I stare at a small river with dark water, not far away from the place where I'm currently laying. Ugh, I wouldn't drink that in my worst nightmares... I realise this thought is ironic, because I am in fact in a nightmare. But this nightmare is real. It's everything except a dream.
