A young boy is tormented by a violent stepfather, who ridicules him for having nightmares.  A most unsuspecting ally comes to the boy's aid, crawling out of his TV, and standing vigilant at his bedside.  The ominous-looking creature, known as the man with spots, assures the boy that he won't let his stepfather cross the line ever again.  He's watching in the shadows and ready to strike!
