A young woman named Elora Johnson finds herself itching to know the truth about her sisters death. Detectives stated that the fifteen year old had committed suicide, but something in her subconsciousness told her they didn't speak of the truth.

When numerous men and women are brutally murdered within the small town of Crawford, Georgia, the members of the local police department are determined to find this dangerous serial killer and put him or her behind bars. Much to their disappointment, no lead can be found and chaos emerges. The vicious murderer begins to haunt the city and its citizens. No one knows who will be next. There are no clues left behind, no breadcrumbs to follow, all apart from one single note signed by a mysterious and unknown 'Z'.

While researching her sisters files for what felt like the hundredth time, Elora - a history major - finds a surprising and terrifying resemblance between the 'Silenced' murders and her sisters so-called suicide.

Will she be able to solve the mystery surrounding her sisters death and finally let her go?

Or will she only get more lost in the labyrinth that is life?
