So, this is my first story. I got this idea off of a dream I had one night.
You all remember the story of the girl with the red hood, the ravenous wolf, and the ill grandmother. But this isn't the fairy tale you might think it is.
Definitely not this time.

The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck. All characters' names and characteristics and fiction, I did not take them directly off somebody, so in cases of coincidence where you or someone you know looks like a character, my apologies, but I swear I didn't look up people and write their description. He backed me into the wall and clamped my mouth shut, "Be quiet" his words lashed. His breath fanned against my face and I could smell mint in his breath. The closet was so dark I couldn't make out any of his features except for forest green eyes that pierced into mine, drilling into my skull. Once he was certain the bimbos where gone, he released me and swung open the door then looked at me expectingly. Keeping my head down, I went to stalk out only to swing my head around and meet the green eyed boy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Red Delensy has to move to Canada with her grandmother, in a place where it almost always snows. The story tells how a little girl did everything she can to save her Village from the wolf, but when her Guardian/Witch of the Village comes up with a potion to turn the wolf human (again), they believe everything to go right again, but the potion only turns the beast slightly humane. He still has command over some supernatural abilities, and Madiline (the main female character) takes the situation into her own hands by sacrificing herself. In this story there is a series of Folk tales put into this script that goes along with the story line, for example The Boy Who Cried, "Wolf," is one, and oddly enough Little Red Riding Hood, because oddly enough Madiline wears her Red Hood since she was young. Red Riding Hood was walking by the forest carrying a basket for her grandmother, and gets tricked by the wolf. That's the story that you HAVE heard. The generations of mystery and heartbreak of the Red Hiding Hood name led to questions and unbeliefs. Especially in this story. The story that you haven't heard. This time, the forest is filled with nightmares and a PACK of wolves. Even imagination friends who aren't even that good. The deadly forest is known to make people go insane. Especially the Red Riding Hood bloodline. But the main character needs to know what happened. She needs to bring the medicines that her grandmother had mailed to her to bring. The grandmother lives at the OTHER side of the forest. But how did she get there? And who exactly IS the grandmother of this tale? The wolf? Or something that had to be dead, but in the end...
