Rayne Meyers, a young girl who grew up Baltimore, MD, on the corners of, W Mulberry St and Fremont Av, struggles to escape her family's statistics. Extremely intelligent and talented, Rayne got a chance to enroll in an upscale University in the state. Facing many hardships, including the death of her sister and her mother's continuous taunts, Rayne struggles with the ability to love, and thus takes on a strange habit of pulling guys in and tearing their hearts out by her words.

Although her fathers death hurt her, it was when her mother died that really took a toll on Sierra. The pain she felt was so immense she decides to never speak again. After her sister Clara has had enough, she decides to move back to their hometown with their brother Marshall in hopes that it will help Sierra. There Sierra finds Rayne, her temperamental mate with anger issues and a bad history. Just as much as she's curious about him, he's curious about her. So here begins the journey of Sierra and Rayne both trying to figure each other out and get to know each other. Throw in some complications, betrayal, heart break, secrets, and violence and you will come to realize, it won't be as easy as it seems. *Update from 21 year old me.. I've gotten better at writing I promise aha! Read at your own risk this is the work of a girl who just wrote whatever came to mind.*
