Hello everyone & happy Thanksgiving! So, not long ago, I made this account & decided that it's time for me to start writing a story... I'm new to this writing thing, but I'm a fast learner. The story that I'll start writing soon is based on the life of one of my closest friends. It is called "Catherine", but of course I'm not gonna use real names, etc. I'll try to upload a chapter once a week, because my school duties are so many. Introduction to the story: Catherine is an 8th grader, 13. Her parents were divorced when she was 5 years old & now, her father lives 2 hours & a half away from her. She misses him a lot & has an older sister, who is 17, with whom she shares every detail about her daily routine. Her life was almost perfect after the divorce, but everything fell apart when she changed school at the 3rd grade. She lost all her friends. She's also not so sociable, so she has a hard time making new friends. Gymnasium isn't how she expected it to be. She was always dreaming of a fresh start there. But fate sometimes had different plans. She was bullied lots of times, without telling a word to anyone. Her sister, the only one she could talk to freely, pushed her aside. Now, she feels suciadal. She actually has tried 2 times to put an end in her life... But failed, because Catherine is weak & cares about her family. Every time, when these thoughts come into her mind, she says: "But what will happen to mum & dad? Will he hurt her, if I suddenly die, while she's responsible for my health?". See how her life continues. Will she manage to make everything as it was back then, when she was 5? Will she ever find peace? Tell me your thoughts in the comments down below! The 1st chapter is comming soon! Bye for now, Nelly

"Ten years ago today was the worst day of my life. On the 17th of November 2007, I lost my best friend in a hit-and-run car accident. It's been a hard ten years, living from day to day with an awful childhood tragedy at the back of my mind, but the years still crawl by agonisingly slowly. I say that, but when I think about Alice and what happened to her it barely seems like yesterday. My therapist seems to think that documenting everything I think and feel in this diary will finally help me get over her death-and who knows? Maybe he's right. Or maybe he's very wrong; in which case I suppose this diary could serve as some kind of "note"." This is really just me playing around with the diary format and exploring what would happen to the friends of someone who died young - how they would react and try to pick up their lives etc. When writing this, I picked a start date for the diary that seemed far away but it's soon crept up on me, so I had the idea of posting it on the actual dates stated in the book. I actually started writing it in 2016 but I've REALLY procrastinated with it. DISCLAIMER: this is a work of fiction. All events and characters herein are fictitious. Any relation to persons living and/or dead is completely coincidental. THEMES THAT MIGHT NEED TRIGGER WARNINGS ('cause you never know): Grief Car accidents Self-harm Substance abuse Mental health (As you can probably tell, I have no experience with this kind of thing, I''m not even sure what a trigger warning is supposed to look like. I originally planned to rate this mature but was recommended not to - if you think I should, feel free to message me.) Enough with my ramblings, on to the main event!
