Nathanael is an eighteen year old boy who's still trying to find out what he wants in life. His dad died of an overdose and his mom is still grieving of his death. Should he stay to take care of his mother's emotional needs or move on with his life?

Sarah is seventeen but has the mind of a thirty year old. She writes her own books and she plays her guitar every Sunday at her local church. She knows everything she wants in life, except her relationship with Nathanael.

They've been best friends since ninth grade, but they still have so much to learn about each other. Sarah knows she has feelings for him, but Nate's too focused on his mom. He knows they have an usual connection than any other girl he's spent time with, but he's distracted.

Will either of them step up and confront each other before Senior year is over? Or will they let fear get the best of them and depart? There's only so much time to waste before they regret it.
