Chrisember always had a love for the winter season; the snow, the cute romance movies, the joy that goes with the season, but above all she loves Christmas. She always had very great experiences during the winter season- that is until this year. This year things change, things that could possibly change her view on winter for the better or maybe for the worst.

I have originally written this story for NaNoWriMo 2015, and even posted it under a different name and modified to be a fanfiction. I've decided now to publish it as it was originally intended to. Bobbi is an enthusiastic mountaineer who loves the outdoors more than anything. But just before she turns sixteen she decides to climb one of the most difficult mountains there is. The experience is a game changer and she returns home to her family where she has to deal with the aftermath of what happened on the mountain, as well as trying to fit into the high school world drama that is her life now. She is socially awkward and a bit of a freak, but at the same time everyone wants to know the new girl. She falls in love with the school's hottest guy, Sam, at least in her opinion, and to her surprise the feeling is mutual. They soon discover the real people they both keep from the outside world, realizing that opening up to someone can be both liberating but also make one vulnerable. Bobbi's world is turned upside down when life strikes again. The hardship she felt on the mountain is tenfold and Bobbi feels like drowning. Winter was not the time for everyone. Especially not for Holly, who was snowed in her college building. To her bad luck, she had decided to leave for home on the twenty-first, unlike her friends, when a snowstorm had suddenly hit town. She had cursed mother nature's name. All she had wanted to do was get home as late as possible to shorten the time she would have to spend with her mom and stepdad... but now, she would never get to her destination in time. According to the news, the snowstorm would last days, the consequences might even weeks. And being the only one in her college building could become very lonely... but maybe she wouldn't be as alone as she had expected. With her car stuck and a storm blowing in, Georgia is forced to hole up at a remote Christmas tree farm with the help of its kindly owner, Sue. Though Sue tells Georgia stories about how seeing the white reindeer is a lucky event, Georgia is skeptical. She doesn't feel very lucky. Not only is she stranded and snowed in, but she's also stuck in the presence of Sue's surly son, Felix Nissen. But despite her distaste for the holidays, Georgia has to admit there's something special about the Christmas tree farm--almost magical. Maybe the reindeer brought her more than luck... Being shorter than everyone in her class, trusting what people tell her, and wetting the bed will only make it harder to send the right message. How can the teen prove her adulthood, before Gabby humiliates her in front of her friends and her new boyfriend? This book and The Last New Start tell the same story from different perspectives. Both of them will be complete stories in their own right, but reading them together might give a little more depth. I will be writing these for NaNoWriMo 2021, which means that I will attempt to post at least one chapter of one of the stories every day in November; and if I can write faster than that, then any remaining chapters will be available to all my Patreon supporters (including the $1 tier) for this month. Evita isn't ready to leave.
