If/When -Sammy Wilk & Skate Maloley love story

Jumping between after Sammy and Skate have become famous to back when they were still in high school this story follows a girl named Danni Keller who witnessed it all and loved both boys.
When Sammy comes back home to Omaha he runs into an old face he thought he would never see again. Skate Maloley his best friend from way back when is at their local hangout with the girl Sammy once loved, how will it all turn out? Is his former best friend really stabbing him in the back or is there something deeper going on? Will Sammy get his girl back or will the forgotten friends become best buds again?
Back in high school Danni and Skate hated each other but things change so people can too right? Their relationship goes from hatred to something more when they lose the only thing they thought they had in common.
