Gossamer was a lonely child. He did not have any friends. He spent the day with a daily session of being beaten up by bullies and his own father. Gossamer thought he would never find a friend to stand up for him. This changed, however, when he met Wilson. Wilson was just like Gossamer: He was lonely, did not have friends, and was a target for bullies. Gossamer is quick to befriend him despite learning about Wilson. Despite learning how Wilson is really like. Despite learning the consequences that will happen for befriending Wilson.
