The Parker's are visiting their Uncle in the Twin Tower's when they get bombed. The family makes it out just before the whole building is ruined but then they realize they don't have 6 year old Violet with them. Savannah who is 13 is torn and extremely mad at her parents for losing Violet. Violet isn't found so they confirm her dead but Savannah doesn't believe that. Without telling anyone she sneaks into the ruins of the buildings in search of Violet. She is relieved when she finds her but Violet is badly hurt and barely alive. Now all the Parker's can do is pray for precious Violet.
