Forced to move all the way to Virginia, Hailey isn't to pleased. The tragic accident which left her by herself with no family left, rests on her shoulders. What Hailey needs is a break, even if she doesn't realize it. She has always been an outstanding athlete and A-honor roll student. Since the accident, she has kept her normal schedule and buried the rest deep down. One day, she gets a phone call, her mom's friend telling her that she is now moving all the way to Virgina!! She can't believe it, she's a city girl!! How could she live on a farm, let alone with a stranger her 5 girls and 8 sons!!!

The last thing Hailey is looking for is a relationship. Her life is in California afterall. She isn't willing to give up her life even if she is moving all the way across the country. But then, she meets Gavin. Gavin is the kind of guy Hailey knows she needs to stay away from. It's not that he's not sweet or caring, it's that he is always with some girl. But, she can't keep her mind off him. Meet Gavin's brother Jere. Jere is a smart, caring, funny kind of guy. He's laid back and relaxed, and Hailey knows he will be a great friend...but will her only be just a friend?
