Christmas with Eve {a Christmas Short Story}

Eve Short is the most ordinary girl you can imagine. She's living in a small town, attending a small university. When her parents travel to a tropical island for Christmas Vacation, she's forced to stay on campus all alone, with nothing to do and no one to celebrate with. One of the only other people on the college campus is an intelligent, leather-jacket-wearing guy named Maxwell. She didn't even know him until the snowy day when he'd supposedly tried to attack her. Over the two short weeks they have together, Eve and Maxwell are having little adventures of their own. Maybe this lonely, gloomy Christmas wouldn't be so lonely and gloomy after all...
