Called from across the ocean, BEOWULF responds to KING HROTHGAR's plea. Bringing a small band of warriors, he arrives in Daneland and learns of the terror, GRENDEL. Seemingly unstoppable, Grendel devours flesh and bone as he sees fit.

Weaponry cannot penetrate the creature's hide. Choosing to lay all weaponry aside feigns sleep until the beast arrives. Conquering the creature's horror, the mighty one surpasses Hrothgar's expectations.

Victory, short lived, ends in tragedy. Grendel's MOTHER appears, unleashing the full fury of a woman scorned. Diving beneath murky waters Beowulf makes his way to the lair of the demon. Using a magical sword from the days of the giants, he courts her doom. Severing her head, the Great fighter brings peace to Hrothgar.

After 50 years a thief steals a cup from a sleeping DRAGON's hoard. Silent no longer, the giant wyrm rises, unleashing fiery death upon the great hero's countryside. WIGLAF, a young pupil of the now aged warrior, aids in Beowulf's final conflict.

You will be of use -" "And what do you think will happen if we run into trouble?" She asked, looking at him "then they would all know who I am. What I am. What would happen then?" "Then they will know who you are" he replied simply "I expect you to be there by nightfall" turning to leave ". . What's his name then?" She asked, causing him to pause "our host?" "Bilbo Baggins of Bag End" he replied, walking out Ryneela let out a small sigh through her nose, shaking her head slightly as she threw away the bandage, looking at the owl, "What did I just get myself into, Nix?" Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

For a thousand years they roamed the Earth. And for a thousand years they thought of her. Because how could you forget the one person who brought light even into the most dreadful of times? The one person who seemed to be intertwined with their very beings? How could you forget the person you blame yourself for dying? How could you forget the person your own schemes had killed? How could you forget the person who died for your secrets? How could you forget the person who died because you wouldn't leave her? How could you forget the person you've only ever loved from afar? And how could you forget the person who was continuously there? They would lose her, grieve and miss her for centuries... And then she'd be there again. Coming to the one who needed her most. Becoming a solace and becoming home. Only to be lost all over again. The Mikaelson couldn't forget her. But Jane Harmon could. It was an odd thing, thinking that one might forget themselves. The Roseblood Clan. Three thousand years worth of magic cursing through their people's blood. Long before the Bennetts, before the Travellers, The Other Side and the Ancestors, there had been the Roseblood clan. Witches forged from the dying breath of a dragon in the centre of Scotland. The blood of the dragon was the legacy of their people. Yet, stories and history could be twisted by the victors of the many battles that had plagued the clan. A war between kin had destroyed the legacy of the Roseblood Clan. After a thousand years, their rule of magic had come to a halt. For over two thousand years, a story had been spun. The story of the evil siphoner. The abomination that had ruined their line. Yet, the truth loomed, threatening to reveal the true reason as to why siphoners existed. What their true purpose was. Were they abominations, the bastards of the magical world or were they meant to take power from those undeserving to ensure it was not misused? Only the victor of the battle gets to tell the tale. Athena Flora Roseblood was far from a victor. Being a firstborn Roseblood had cursed her like many others before her. Firstborn women in their line were not meant to meet their first breath of air, they were destined to die, to be sacrificed within the womb to help empower their coven, yet for the first time in two thousand years, a firstborn woman had come screaming into the world. Athena was never been meant to be born. Her blood haunted her from the second she took her first breath, her house divided thanks to thousands of years of lies. Lies that may never come to the light of day. Fear was a powerful totem and after two thousand years of lies, it left Athena trapped within the cage created for her. The abomination, the bastard of nature, the Roseblood Siphoner. Nothing to the world but a mistake and a monster.
