Lucy Heartfilia was skinny when she started dating Sting, but after she had a baby he started to abuse her that she started to gain weight. He would call her fat, ugly and other things like no one would love her and she wouldn't be able to lose weight. So one day after having enough of his abuse she left him.
"I wasn't always that big, I was slim, healthy and fit until my life took a bad turn... Horrible abusive relationship which led to severe depression - which led to bad weight gain-causing antidepressants, isolation, unhealthy choices to cope and a long list of problems that brought me there..."said Lucy Heartfilia.
When she left she found the perfect place to live and a job. The owner of the restaurant is Natsu. He helped her reach her goal. He was kind, loyal, supportive, sweet, delightful, thoughtful, considerate, cute, lovable, charming and many more. After meeting Natsu she told him about her past with her ex boyfriend. He supported her every step of the way even when she bumped into her ex-boyfriend.
"I am also very happily married to the love of my life Natsu Dragneel who has shown me how a real man loves his wife. God put him in my life when I had all but given up.." Said Lucy Heartfilia. When Lucy ex boyfriend finds out that she lost weight and was now smokin hot he wanted to get back together with her, but she said no cause she is happily married.
